What is the procedure to get veneers in Turkey?

• The entire procedure takes 5 to 7 days to complete. As soon as the patient lands in Turkey, they can visit the dental clinic for their first appointment. 
• During the first appointment, the dentist will examine the patient’s teeth and discuss the treatment procedure. Once the treatment is approved both by the dentist and the patient, the following steps will be conducted. 

1. The dentist will reshape the tooth surface by removing the layer of enamel using a grinding tool. 
2. Next, the dentist will make an impression of the reshaped teeth to prepare a mold.
3. The impressions will be sent to the laboratory. And, the dentist will fit temporary veneers to cover the exposed tooth. This is done to avoid tooth sensitivity and prepare the patient for the final set of veneers. 

• It will take at least two days for the technicians to prepare the permanent set of veneers. The patients can spend these days exploring the city. 
• After two days, the patient will visit the clinic to get the permanent veneer fixed. 

1. The dentist will remove the temporary veneers and grind the teeth to create an uneven surface. 
2. The look and fit of the veneers will be evaluated, followed by cementing them on the teeth. 
3. The dentist will properly clean the mouth, teeth, and veneers to avoid any bacterial infection.
4. The patient is free to leave the clinic after the procedure. However, if the procedure was performed under anesthesia, it is better to wait till its effect wears off.
